imaSpark Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 24, 2026 · Last Updated: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Jigiya Tech, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you use the imaSpark application, website, AI-powered Sparks, voice features, subscriptions, and related services (the “Service”).
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the Service worldwide except where local law requires additional disclosures. The Service is not offered in the European Union or United Kingdom at this time.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information (email, display name)
- Profile data and Spark preferences
- Conversations, prompts, and content you share with Sparks, including saved recipes and other content you create
- Voice recordings, when you use voice input — see Section 4 for how this is handled
- Payment information, handled directly by our payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google). We do not store full card numbers.
- Device identifiers, IP address, browser, and operating system information
- Zip code, provided by you, used to show local weather conditions
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and improve the Service; personalize Sparks; authenticate users; process subscriptions; provide customer support; detect fraud; maintain security; comply with law; and research and improve features. We do not sell your data, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.
4. AI Processing and Voice Data
Prompts and conversations are processed by AI systems, including Anthropic’s Claude API, to generate responses. Depending on your settings and applicable law, conversation history may be retained to maintain continuity with a Spark, investigate abuse, or improve the Service.
When you use voice input, your recording is sent to our speech-to-text provider, Deepgram, to generate a transcript. This request is authenticated and tied to your account. The audio itself is not stored on our servers after the transcript is generated; a temporary local copy may briefly exist on your device during processing.
Voice recordings are used only to generate a text transcript. We do not use voice recordings to create a voiceprint or other biometric identifier, and we do not use voice data to identify you.
5. Sharing Information
We share information with the cloud providers, AI providers, and payment processors who help us operate the Service. We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, personalize, and measure the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. Voice recordings are not retained after transcription, as described in Section 4. If you delete your account, your account record and associated data are deleted immediately, as described in Section 8. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent by emailing privacy@imaspark.app.
Account deletion. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This immediately deletes your account record and all associated data stored in the Service, including your Sparks, saved recipes, preferences, and conversation history. This action cannot be undone.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. If you have a paid subscription through the App Store, Google Play, or our website, you must cancel it separately through that platform’s subscription settings, or by contacting support@imaspark.app for web subscriptions, to stop future billing.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Every profile on a Family plan account must belong to a user who is 13 or older.
11. International Transfers
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Jigiya Tech or its service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy and will provide notice of material changes where required by law. We’ll revise the “Last Updated” date above whenever we do.
